R L S Tooling Techniks is tucked away at Number 58/6A in Ramachandrappa Layout. We are right behind the Maruthi Industrial Complex, which makes it feel like a very busy area. Opposite us is the Government School, so we hear the kids playing during their breaks. It is a loud environment with all the machinery and the school noise mixed together. Our workshop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit all the tools and equipment we need. The floor is concrete and often has marks from the heavy work we do. It’s a bit messy at times with metal scraps or oil, but that is just how a tooling shop looks. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just working in the back and will come out if they hear a knock. Being in Kamakshipalya means we are surrounded by other small industries. The road out front can get a bit bumpy and dusty, especially when the big trucks go by. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s close to the other industrial units we deal with. It is a practical space for practical work. No one comes here expecting a lounge. They come for the tools and the technical stuff we handle every day. It’s just us and the machines, working through whatever needs fixing or making in the layout.
