R B H Hair Style is right on SM Road in the Balepet-Chickpet area of Bangalore. If you know the city, you know how busy these markets are. We are located near the upparpet police station, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Working in Balepet is a bit different from other parts of town because it is so crowded and there is always a lot of energy. People are always rushing to buy things or sell things. Our shop is a little place where someone can step away from the noise of SM Road for a bit. We don't have a lot of space, but we make the most of it. We have the usual chairs and mirrors and we keep our tools ready. The police from the station sometimes come by, and so do the traders from the nearby markets. It is a very lively place to work. We don't do anything fancy with the decor because the shop is really about the work. We've been in this part of Bangalore for a long time. You get used to the sounds of the horns and the people shouting. It’s just part of life in Chickpet. We start our day when the markets open and we don't leave until the streets start to quiet down a little. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. No big promises, just a haircut and a bit of a break from the street. It is a hard-working area.
