Queens Salon

Queens Salon is tucked away at No.3 K on 3rd Street in Ashoknagar. It’s a fairly quiet pocket of Bangalore compared to the main roads nearby. We have been operating out of this spot for some time. The building isn't the newest on the block, but it serves its purpose. Inside, we have a few stations set up with chairs and mirrors. We spend a lot of our time chatting with neighbors who pop in. The street outside can get a little muddy when it rains, which happens quite a bit lately. I usually spend my mornings getting the towels folded and checking if we have enough supplies for the day. Sometimes the light in the back room flickers, but we just live with it. Ashoknagar is a good place to be because everything is close by. We see a lot of people who are just heading home after a long shift. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just know we are here on the 3rd street. It’s just a simple setup where we do our work and keep things moving. We like the local feel of the area. It feels like everyone knows everyone else’s business around here, which can be funny sometimes. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever needs a bit of work done to walk in.
