Punjab Di Shaan

Our restaurant is located at 74/3 on the Panathur Outer Ring Road. It’s a busy spot because of all the tech parks and offices around this part of Bangalore. We started this place to bring some of the flavors from Punjab to this neighborhood. The menu is full of things like tandoori chicken, dal makhani, and stuffed parathas. We have a big tandoor oven in the back that stays hot from morning until we close. The decor is nothing to talk about, just some simple tables and chairs for people to sit and eat. It can get very crowded during the lunch hour when the office workers come in for their break. They are usually in a hurry, so the kitchen has to work fast to keep up. In the evening, it’s a bit more relaxed and we see more families. The traffic on the Outer Ring Road is always a mess, so sometimes our suppliers get delayed. If we run out of something, we just let people know. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us and a few cooks trying to make decent food. The music is usually just whatever is playing on the radio. It gets noisy with the road traffic and the kitchen sounds, but that’s just how it is here. We just want to serve a good meal to anyone who walks in our door.
