Project Trainee

I am currently a Project Trainee working out of the Airforce Station in Jalahalli West, Bangalore. My setup is specifically with Cpl Nagaraju K at the Station HQ. Since this is a military area, it’s not the kind of place you can just wander into. There are gates and security checks every single time you come in or leave. It makes the workday feel very structured. I spend most of my time in a small office room that has a very old desk and a computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. Being a trainee means I am mostly doing whatever tasks are handed down to me, which can be anything from filing reports to checking logistics data. Bangalore 15 is a bit far from the main city buzz, so it stays relatively quiet around the station, except when there is a lot of activity on the base. The walls are painted that standard government beige color, and there are some old maps pinned up. I usually eat my lunch at my desk or go to the local canteen if I have time. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is steady work. I am learning a lot about how things are run in a place like this. It's just me and a few others doing our bit and trying to stay out of the way of the higher-ups while we finish our training period. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so that makes the long commute a bit more bearable.
