At 12 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, you’ll find us at Prime Cargo Movers. We mostly deal with boxes, tape, and moving trucks. Our office is just a place to store the packing materials and keep the records. Most of the time, we aren't even there because we’re out at someone’s house or office. We pack up dishes, clothes, and furniture. It’s heavy work and it makes your back sore by the end of the day. We’ve got a couple of small trucks that we use to ferry stuff around the city. Sometimes the traffic makes a twenty-minute trip take two hours, which is just part of living here. We’ve been doing this for a few years. It started with just me and a friend, and now we have a few more guys who help lift the heavy sofas. We don’t use any special gadgets, just our hands and some sturdy crates. People usually call us when they’re stressed out about moving, so we try to just get the job done without much fuss. We’ve seen all sorts of houses, from tiny apartments to big ones with lots of stairs. The stairs are the worst part, especially when there’s a fridge involved. We just take it slow and make sure nothing breaks. After work, we usually grab some food near the RT Nagar market. It’s a plain and simple way to make a living, and we’re okay with that.
