Pretty Beauty Parlour

Pretty Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Ganganagar at 3, RBI colony. It is near the RT Nagar post and very close to Reva College, so we see a lot of students coming by between their classes. Being in the RBI colony makes it a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which is nice. We mostly do the usual things like facials, haircuts, and henna. The shop is small and run by a few of us who have lived in Bangalore for a long time. We try to keep things simple and easy for everyone. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but the customers are usually patient since they live just down the street. It feels more like a home than a business most days. We have a couple of chairs and a small waiting area with some old newspapers. The neighborhood kids often play outside near the college gate, and you can hear them while we work. It is not a fancy place with bright lights, just a regular parlor where you can get your eyebrows done or your hair trimmed. We know when the college has exams because it gets much quieter around here. Then, as soon as they are over, everyone comes in at once. It is a good rhythm that we have gotten used to.
