Prathap Stores

Prathap Stores has been sitting here on Avenue Road for a good while now. Specifically, we are at number 20 on Gundopanth Street. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing around. The shop itself is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stuff on the shelves. Sometimes things get a little dusty but that is just how it goes when you are right on the street like this. My family and a couple of helpers run the place. We usually open up early and do not close until the sun is well down. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting outside all day long. It is not a fancy place by any means. The floor is a bit worn out and the lights flicker sometimes if the weather is bad. We just sell regular items that people in the neighborhood need for their homes. I spend a lot of my day talking to the regulars who have been coming here since they were kids. It is just a normal shop doing what it does. We do not have a big website or anything like that. People just know where we are. If someone needs something, they walk in and ask. We try to keep things simple. It is a lot of lifting boxes and checking inventory, which gets tiring after a few hours, but we are used to it by now.
