Prasidhi Fast Food

We are located at Jayanagar New Hyderahalli Road 1216/38. This is Prasidhi Fast Food. It’s mostly just a counter and a few places to stand or sit quickly. The area gets quite busy during lunch hours, so we have to move fast. It’s a lot of steam and the smell of oil most of the day. I started working here because it was close to home. We don’t have any big signs or anything. People just know where we are. The floor gets a bit slippery sometimes when we're rushing, so we have to be careful. We use a lot of plates and spoons in a single day. My brother helps me with the ordering of ingredients. We try to get fresh stuff from the market nearby every morning. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to scramble. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don't have air conditioning, so it gets pretty warm in the summer months. Customers don’t stay long, they just eat and go. That’s fine by us. We just keep the stove going until we close up at night. It’s a simple living. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. If you’re walking down New Hyderahalli Road, you’ll probably see us there. There’s always someone washing dishes in the back. It's a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over time. We just keep on going.
