Over at Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar Halgovan Kevalni Pole 109 you’ll find Pranav Water Distributors. It’s a bit of a maze getting back there into the pole but we’ve lived in this area a long time so we know the shortcuts. Our place is basically a storage area and a small room where we keep the accounts. We spend most of our time loading up the containers and making sure they get delivered on time. It’s physical work and it can get tiring when the weather is humid. Number 109 is an old building but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and they’re usually joking around while they work. Kevalni Pole is a tight squeeze for some of the bigger vehicles so we have to be careful not to scrape any walls. We don’t do any big advertising or anything fancy like that. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who have known us for years. We just try to be reliable and show up when we say we will. Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar is where we grew up so it feels right to be working here. It’s a busy life but it’s honest and it keeps us going. We usually close up early on Sundays to spend time with family.
