Ice Port

Our place, Ice Port, is down at No. 16 South Mada Street in Mylapore. It is a very lively area, especially with the temple nearby and all the shops lined up. The street is always full of people, cows, and scooters. Our space is right in the middle of all that action. It is an old building, and our office is on the ground floor which makes it easy to step inside from the heat. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a plain room with what we need to run things. The morning time is usually the busiest because of the flower sellers and the people going for prayers. We can hear the bells and the chanting sometimes while we work. The air is often filled with the smell of jasmine and incense from the street. Our workspace is quite simple, with a couple of tables and some chairs that have seen better days. We don't really bother with decorating much. We just focus on the daily tasks we have. We know the local shopkeepers around us, and it feels like a real community. Sometimes the traffic on South Mada Street gets so bad that nothing moves for twenty minutes, but we are used to the pace. It is a good place to be, right in the heart of Mylapore, just doing our thing every day without any fuss or trying to be fancy for anyone.
