Gold Gym

You will find us at Sai Sharan Heights, over on 4th Main and 15th Cross in Malleswaram. We have been here at No. 78 for a while now, and it has become a bit of a routine for the folks in the neighborhood. It is a gym, so obviously, there is a lot of noise—clanking weights and music playing most of the time. We are not one of those places that is only for experts; we have all sorts of people coming in, from students to older residents who have lived in Malleswaram their whole lives. The space is filled with equipment that we try to keep in good shape, though sometimes a treadmill might have an out of order sign for a day or two while we wait for a part. It is a regular spot where people just come to move around and get some sweat going. We do not do any of that fancy talk about life transformations. It is just a place to lift things or run in place. The staff here are usually just busy helping someone with their form or cleaning up the weights that people forget to put back. Being on 15th Cross means it gets a bit crowded during the evenings when everyone finishes work, but that is when the energy is highest. We keep the doors open early in the morning for the early birds. It is just a local gym where people know each other.
