Prakash Water Supply

Being located near Bhashyam Circle means we are right in the thick of things every day. Prakash Water Supply has been operating from this area for quite a while now. The number 41555 is where we keep the records. It is a loud spot with all the horns and the buses turning at the circle. We have a few tankers that go out every morning. The drivers have a tough job navigating those narrow lanes around here, especially when the festivals are on and the streets are blocked by stalls. We mostly supply to the houses and the small hotels nearby. Water is always a bit of a gamble, depending on the season and the groundwater levels. We have to keep an eye on the tanks and the quality all the time. It is a lot of manual work, pulling the heavy pipes and making sure the connections do not leak. My hands are usually stained with grease or wet from the water. We do not have fancy uniforms or a front desk. You will usually find us standing by the trucks or talking to the mechanics. We take orders on a mobile phone that is constantly charging because the battery is old. If we say we are coming, we try our best, but Bhashyam Circle traffic does not always agree with our plans. It is just the way it goes here.
