Chamrajpet 5 is where we sit. It has been quite a few years now. My name is Prakash and we basically just do food. It is not some fancy setup with a big office. We are just a small team working out of this space. We started small at house number 5 and we are still here. Some days it gets really noisy in the kitchen. We handle big pots of rice and curry every single morning. We wake up early, usually before the sun is even up, to get things started. People in the neighborhood come to us for their family functions or small parties. We do not spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. Most people just know us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We like the Chamrajpet area because it is familiar and everyone knows each other. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to rush to the local market. That is just how a normal day goes for us. We make sure the food is hot and the taste is what people expect. It is hard work standing by the stove all day, especially in the summer. My staff is small but they have been with me for a long time. We are just Prakash Catering Services, doing our regular job for the folks around here. We do not have a big corporate plan. We just want to finish the day’s work and make sure the vessels are cleaned for tomorrow.
