Prabhu Traders

Our place is located at Yeshwantpur 5th Main, specifically on Lorry Gowdown Street within the APMC Yard. Being at 44/21 means we are right in the middle of all the heavy truck traffic. If you’ve ever been to the yard, you know it’s a place that starts working long before the rest of the city wakes up. Prabhu Traders is basically a hub for moving goods around. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting and logistics every single day. The sound of engines and people shouting directions is just part of the background noise for us. We spend hours checking manifests and making sure the right crates are going onto the right vehicles. Sometimes a truck gets stuck in the narrow turn and we have to help guide them. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There’s always dust in the air and grease on the floor. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next shipment to arrive. The office is small and filled with papers and phones that don’t stop ringing. We don’t have any fancy decorations because there’s no room for them with all the pallets stacked up. Everyone here knows their job and we just get on with it. It’s a busy life, but it’s how things get moved from one place to another. We’re just one small part of this massive yard, keeping things moving as best as we can.
