Our office is at Sathyasai Nivas on Devasandra Masjid Road in Krishnarajpuram. It’s number 2 on the street. KR Puram is always a hive of activity, especially near the masjid. We’ve been here for a bit now, working on water technology. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly we are just making sure the equipment is set up right and doing its job. The office is a bit old-fashioned, maybe. We still use a lot of paper notebooks to track things because it’s easier than typing everything out. It’s a small group of us here. We usually eat lunch together in the back room and talk about the news or the cricket scores. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. It’s one of those things you just have to do. We don't have a big sign out front, just a simple one so people know they’re at the right place. Working in Devasandra is nice because everyone knows everyone. We get people popping in just to say hello or ask a quick question about their home setup. We don’t mind at all. It’s part of being in a community like this. We just keep plugging away at the work and try to make sure we don’t forget to lock the gate at night. The days go by fast when you are busy with your hands.
