You can find us at the Rafi Building on First Main in the B Cross area of Vekateshwara Layout. It is over in Old Madiwala, which is a part of Bangalore that has seen a lot of changes over the years. Power Research And Development Consultancy has been sitting in this neighborhood for quite some time. The building itself is pretty easy to spot once you get onto the right cross street, though the traffic in Madiwala can be a real headache some mornings. We have a simple setup inside where we spend most of our time looking over data and working on different research projects. It is not the kind of place with a lounge or a receptionist. Usually, it is just a couple of us at our desks with the fans running. The neighborhood is full of small shops and places to grab a quick bite, so there is always something going on outside. We have gotten used to the noise of the bikes and the people walking by. It is a very grounded place to work. We spend our days digging into power development issues and talking through things without much formality. It is a bit old-school, but that is just how we like to run things. Most of our visitors are just people we have known for years coming in to discuss a project or check on some figures we have been crunching in the office.
