Pooja Medicals & General Supplies

We are right here in the middle of KR Market on Avenue Road. It stays really busy most days, especially in the mornings. My family has been running Pooja Medicals and General Supplies for a good bit of time now. Usually, people stop by when they are already out doing their main shopping for the house. We keep all kinds of medicines and the usual things people need for their bathrooms or kitchens. The shop isn't huge but we try to keep the shelves full so nobody leaves empty-handed. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we can barely hear what the customers are asking for. Bangalore weather helps though, even when the shop gets crowded. We start early in the morning when the trucks are still unloading stuff nearby. It is mostly just about getting the right items to the people who live around Chickpete. We don't really do anything fancy here. Just standing behind the counter, checking expiry dates, and making sure we have enough change in the drawer. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit when it is quiet, but that doesn't happen much. People know where to find us because we have been on Avenue Road for so long. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the market stays the same kind of hectic. We just keep doing our bit every day, opening up the shutters and seeing who comes in. It's a simple life really, just keeping things moving.
