We operate Poet Consultants out of a place called Ravi Niwas in the Doddabommasandra area of Bangalore. We are specifically on 2nd Main, 2nd Cross, near the Vidyaranyapura Post. It is a bit of a residential feel around here, which is nice compared to the loud city center. The office is basically part of the local community. We do our consulting work here, mostly keeping things low-key and quiet. It is not a big glass-and-steel building, just a regular place where we can focus on what we need to do. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside while we’re trying to finish a report, but that is just life in this part of Bangalore. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The space inside is functional, with enough room for our files and a few desks. We aren’t interested in sounding like a big multinational; we are just a local team doing our bit. People around here know us as the guys who are always at their computers. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything, so you have to know where you are going. It’s a simple setup, and that works just fine for us. We handle the paperwork, take the calls, and try to keep things organized. It is a steady pace, nothing too frantic. We just like doing a good job without all the extra fluff that some people seem to like. It’s a quiet life for the most part.
