Notre Dame School

Notre Dame School is located at Door No-24/1 and 24/2 on Hunsur Road. This is in the Vijayanagar 4th Stage area of Mysore, specifically in Hinkal. This part of Mysore has grown a lot lately, and Hunsur Road is one of the main ways people get in and out of the city, so it stays quite busy. The school has a good amount of space, which is nice for the kids. Mysore has that lovely weather for most of the year, so being out on the playground is usually pleasant for the students during their lunch breaks. The school building is a familiar sight in Hinkal now. Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a local school—desks, bright walls, and the sound of teachers talking. We have a lot of students from the surrounding residential areas of Vijayanagar, so there is a real community feel when everyone gathers for events. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with us for years and some newer faces. We do not have any big corporate slogans; we just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work. Dealing with school buses and parents dropping off their kids makes the mornings a bit hectic, but once the first period starts, things settle down into a normal routine. It is just a regular school trying to do right by the kids in our neighborhood.
