Plasto Poly Chem Industries is out in Kumbalagodu at A 43. Being in an industrial area means it’s mostly about the work and not much about the appearance of the building. We have a fair amount of space, which is needed for the materials we handle. It smells a bit like plastic and chemicals around here, but you get used to it after ten minutes. The floors are concrete and there’s always a bit of dust from the production process. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller team where everyone knows what they need to do. We spend our days watching the machines and making sure the batches come out right. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating but that’s just life in a factory. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anything like that. Most of our orders come from businesses that have worked with us for a long time. They know where we are and what we can do. We keep our paperwork in order, even if the office desk is piled high with files. It’s a practical place for practical work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make quality parts and keep the business going year after year. It's a steady rhythm that we have fallen into over time.
