We are located at number 2, Old Madras Road. If you know this road, you know it is one of the oldest and busiest stretches in the area. Our building has been here for quite some time, and you can see the age in the walls and the way the stairs creak a little. Being right on the main road means we hear the honking and the buses all day long, but it also makes it very easy for people to drop by. We don’t have a big parking lot, so things can get a bit tight when two trucks arrive at the same time. Inside, the space is filled with the smell of processed materials and the sound of fans blowing to keep the heat down. Plastics Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy name and we don't bother with much decoration; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and old notes taped up over the years. Our team is small, and everyone knows exactly what their job is without being told twice. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock levels in the back room. It’s a straightforward operation here. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just keep the gate shut and carry on with what needs doing. It is a simple place for a simple kind of work day. We just focus on the task at hand.
