Pizza Corner

You can find us on the ground floor over at Katepuram Chowk 504 in Malleshwaram. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough space for the ovens and a few tables for people who want to eat right away. The smell of dough and sauce is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the time we go home. Malleshwaram is always moving, so we get a lot of foot traffic from the market nearby. The delivery bikes are constantly pulling up and leaving outside the door. We spend most of our shift stretching out the dough and checking the toppings. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook on Friday nights, and it gets a bit chaotic behind the counter. We try to keep the boxes stacked high so we don't run out during a rush. The floor gets a bit slippery with flour sometimes, so we have to be careful. It’s a loud place with the timers going off and the fans running to keep the heat down. We don’t do anything fancy with the service; we just get the food out as fast as the oven allows. Most of the regulars live in the blocks right around us. It’s a straightforward business, just making food and handing it over the counter to hungry people every day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and know exactly which bikes belong to which neighbors.
