Pizza Corner

We’re tucked into Malleshwaram at Manek Chowk, specifically at Fc-06. It’s a small space, so we have to stay organized or we’d be tripping over each other. Pizza Corner isn't one of those big fancy Italian places. It’s just us making dough and putting on toppings. We spend a lot of time by the ovens, which gets pretty warm during the summer months. The food court can be a noisy place with a lot of different smells and sounds, but we just focus on our little corner. We have a few regulars who come by every week, and we usually have a quick chat with them while the timer is running. We don't have any polished scripts for how we talk to people. We just say hello and get to work. The boxes are stacked up high in the back and there’s always a bag of flour somewhere nearby. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes. Malleshwaram is a great neighborhood with a lot of history, and even though we’re just in a food court, we feel like part of it. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just make the food, hand it over, and clean up for the next one. It’s simple and it works for us. We just keep the ovens going and the counters wiped down.
