Finding us at 37 Narasimharaja Road isn't too hard if you look for the Town Hall first. We are right near Kapurai Chokdi, across from the Shramjivi Society. Pilot Machinery Corporation is basically what the name says. We deal with heavy stuff, parts, and all the metal bits that make things work. It’s noisy around here most of the time. The shop is full of grease and the smell of metal, which is just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. There’s no polished showroom or sales guys in suits here. It’s just us, usually with dirty hands, trying to find the right piece for a customer who needs their machine running again. The location gets pretty busy with all the traffic coming through the chokdi, and sometimes it’s a bit of a mess outside. Inside, we just try to keep things organized enough so we can find what’s needed. We’ve been at this for a bit, and you learn a lot about how things break and how to get them back together. It’s practical work. We don’t spend much time on the phone unless someone is asking about a specific part. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us moving crates or checking inventory. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night.
