Our workshop is at A-537, 7th Main in the 4th Phase of Peenya Industrial Estate. BMD Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. is exactly what you would expect from a place in Peenya. It is loud, there is oil on the floor, and everyone is usually wearing overalls. We deal with machines and parts all day long. It is not a glamorous job, but we have been doing it at this address for quite some time. The industrial estate is a maze, and if you do not know the 7th Main, you might spend a while driving around in circles. We spend our time fixing things, assembling parts, and checking specs. There is always a bit of grease under our fingernails. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls. Our office is just a corner of the factory floor with a desk that has seen better days. We talk to engineers and factory owners who need their equipment running. It is about getting the metal to do what it is supposed to do. Sometimes a part takes longer to arrive than we would like, which can be frustrating, but we just keep at it. We are not here to make big speeches or put up flashy signs. We just want the machines to work right so everyone can get back to their own jobs. It is a solid, everyday routine for us in the factory.
