Persuing Education

We’re located at 2034/8 on 10th Cross in the Siddaveerappa Layout. Davangere is a good place to be, and this neighborhood is pretty steady. Persuing Education is just a small group of us who are interested in learning and teaching. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we’ve set up some desks and shelves. We have a lot of books, mostly older ones that have been passed around a lot by different people. The floors are a bit creaky in some spots, but we don't mind the noise. We spend our days talking to people who want to better themselves through education. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most people just hear about us from their friends or family members. We keep a pot of tea going most of the time. It makes the place feel more like a home than an office. We have some posters on the walls, mostly maps and schedules. It’s a very practical environment for working. Sometimes the rain in Karnataka makes the roof sound quite loud, but it’s actually a nice sound to work to when things are quiet inside. We aren’t looking to become a giant school or anything. We just want to help the people who come through our door at 10th Cross. It’s simple, honest work, and we feel lucky to do it every day.
