People Equity

You can find People Equity at 954 1st Cross on Nrupatunga Road. We have been here in Bangalore for some time now, right in the 560 057 zip code area. It is a very busy street outside, but once you step inside our place, it is a lot quieter. We are not doing anything flashy or high-tech. Most of our time is spent looking at how to make things fairer for people in their work lives. That is where the equity part of our name comes from, though we do not talk about it in a corporate way. It is just about being fair to everyone. We have a small office with a couple of desks and a lot of empty coffee cups. The 1st Cross is a decent spot, close to the main road but just far enough away to avoid the worst of the traffic noise. We started this because we saw a need for a straightforward approach to managing people. No long PowerPoint presentations or confusing lingo. We just talk. Sometimes we stay a bit late when there is a lot of work to get through, but we do not really mind it. Bangalore is a fast-paced city, so we try to keep up without losing our heads. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses, so it feels like a good fit for us. We are not trying to be the biggest firm in India. We just want to do right by the folks who visit us.
