Working out here in Peenya Industrial Area is a bit different than the rest of Bangalore. Our place, Sutures India, is tucked into the 4th Phase on the 13th Cross, at No. 472-D. If you’ve ever driven through Peenya, you know it’s all about the trucks and the dust from all the manufacturing going on. We are right in the thick of it. Most of our day is spent dealing with boxes of sutures and making sure the counts are right. It’s a busy spot, especially around noon when everyone is out for lunch and the small tea stalls nearby get crowded. The building itself is pretty standard for this area, nothing too flashy, just a solid place where we get our work done. We’ve got a lot of shelves filled with stock, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room, but we always find a way to squeeze in a new shipment. The 13th Cross can get a bit jammed up if a big lorry stops in the middle of the road, so we’ve learned to be patient with the timing. It’s loud, it’s industrial, and it’s usually pretty hot inside during the summer months. We mostly just focus on getting the orders ready and keeping track of what’s going out to the hospitals. It’s a lot of manual work, checking labels and stacking crates until the day ends and we can head home.
