Patel Store

Patel Store has been sitting here on A V Road in Kalasipalyam for quite some time now. The address is 134, right where the traffic usually gets backed up near the market area. It is a general shop, really. We sell a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need on a daily basis. My father ran it before me, and I am just keeping the doors open now. It is a tight space, packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and bags. You have to know exactly where everything is or you will never find it in the back. We get the morning crowd looking for milk or bread, and then it is steady throughout the day with people picking up household items. The building is old, and the shelves creak a bit under the weight, but it holds up. Kalasipalyam is a loud place, always something happening outside the front door. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop people can walk into. People around here know us by name. Sometimes we sit on the wooden stools out front when things are slow in the afternoon. It is not a fancy supermarket, just a local corner store where you can get what you need without a fuss. We keep the prices fair because we know everyone around here. If we do not have something, I usually tell people where they can find it. (247 words)
