Pammis Pizza

Pammis Pizza is a small shop located at number 33 in Basavanagudi. We’ve been tossing dough and heating up the oven here for a while. It’s not a big chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get a hot slice. The kitchen takes up most of the space, so there isn’t a ton of room for sitting, but we have a few stools for those who want to eat right away. We use a regular oven and do things by hand. Sometimes the crust comes out a little different depending on the day, but that’s just how it is when you’re not a machine. We get a lot of students coming in after school because we’re close by. It gets pretty loud and lively in the afternoons. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big glossy menu. Everything is written on a board that we update when we change things. We buy our toppings from the local market nearby every couple of days. If the phone rings while we’re busy with an order, it might take a second for us to answer. We’re just a few people trying to keep up with the orders. Basavanagudi is a nice neighborhood and we like being part of it. If you’re walking past 33, you’ll probably smell the garlic and oregano before you see the sign. We’re just here doing our thing.
