Pallavi Hair Dress

Our shop, Pallavi Hair Dress, sits at 31/2 on Junedia Masjid Road in the Modern Layout of Devarjeevanahalli. It is right across from the Anand theatre, so there is always some noise and life around here. People coming out of the movies or walking to the masjid often stop by. We have a simple shop with the basic stuff needed for a haircut. The mirrors are a bit old but they do the job just fine. Devarjeevanahalli is a crowded place and our road is no different. You can hear the bikes and the talk of the street from inside. We started this place because we knew the area well. It isn't a fancy salon with air conditioning that freezes you out. We just use the fans and keep the door open most of the time. Sometimes the kids from the layout run past and shout, and that is just how it is. We know most of our customers by their names. They tell us about their families or the news while they sit in the chair. It feels like a small community inside these four walls. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just cut hair and trim beards for the local guys. It has been our routine for a long time and we don't see that changing. It’s just us here at the shop, day in and day out, doing what we do.
