Pace Mangalore

Even though the name says Mangalore, we are actually situated in Bangalore, specifically in the 560078 zip code area. It’s a bit of a mix-up that happens sometimes with our mail, but we are used to it by now. Our office is tucked away in a part of the city that is still developing, so there’s often construction noise nearby from new buildings going up. The building we are in is plain and white. We have a few rooms set aside for our daily operations. Most days, it’s just a couple of us sitting around the main table sorting through files. We don’t have any big decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some notes taped up. The windows let in some decent light, which helps since the overhead bulbs are a bit dim. We usually bring our lunches from home and eat together in the small kitchen area. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We don’t really go for anything flashy. We just make sure the work gets finished before we head home in the evening. Traffic in this part of Bangalore can be quite bad, so we try to time our departures right. Sometimes we stay a bit late just to let the roads clear up. It’s a quiet life here. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, so it’s mostly just us doing our thing and answering the phone.
