Overseas Bearings

Overseas Bearings is on the 1st floor of Agarsen Market, which is at 14 Sardar Patrappa Road. Being near Kumbarpet means there is always a lot of movement around here. We have a lot of bearings in stock, so the place is full of heavy boxes and that specific smell of metal and grease. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the hallway is usually filled with goods waiting to be moved or shipped out. The market itself is quite old and has that specific feel to it, where everyone knows everyone else. It gets pretty loud with all the loading and unloading going on downstairs on the street. Our space isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of the walls for storage. We spend most of our time looking up part numbers or talking to mechanics who come in looking for something specific for their machines. It's dusty work, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We don't have a big sign outside, just the usual boards that everyone else has in the market. The light inside isn't the best, so we have some extra tubes fitted so we can see the small markings on the metal parts. It’s a straightforward business, no frills, just getting people the bearings they need. We’ve been at this spot long enough to know the rhythm of the market.
