Giftingnation

Giftingnation is over in JP Nagar 4th Phase, at a place called Aedifice. We are on the first floor of 9/2, right on 15th Cross. It is very close to the 100ft Road, which means the traffic is almost always loud. You can hear the horns honking from the office windows all day. We have a fair amount of space, but it fills up fast with all the boxes and packing materials we use. Being on the first floor is okay, but carrying heavy things up the stairs can be a bit of a workout when the lift is busy. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of bubble wrap everywhere. The light is actually pretty good because of the big windows, but it gets quite warm in the afternoon. We usually eat lunch together at the back table or go down to one of the small places nearby for some coffee. It is a busy part of Bangalore, so there is always something happening outside on the street. We spend the day checking lists and making sure things are put together correctly. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we have a good rhythm going. The carpet is a bit worn out in the high-traffic spots, but it doesn't really matter for what we do. We are just focused on getting through the daily pile of work and getting home to rest before doing it all again tomorrow.
