You can find our shop at 144 Narayana Pillai Street in Shivaji Nagar. It’s a very crowded area with narrow streets, so finding a place to park your scooter is always a bit of a nightmare. We’ve been in this particular building for years. The shop is absolutely full of parts and cardboard boxes stacked right up to the ceiling. It’s a bit dark inside because the windows are small, but we know exactly where everything is located. Mostly we deal with people from around the neighborhood who are looking for specific bits and pieces for their machines or vehicles. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big display out front. It’s just the company name on the door. It’s a lot of manual work, looking through old catalogs and checking the stock in the back room. We talk to the same local people almost every week. The street outside is always full of shoppers and other small businesses. Sometimes when it rains hard, the water leaks in a bit near the back door, so we have to hurry and move the boxes around. It’s just a regular, small business. We don’t have a big team of people, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We handle the sales and the local deliveries ourselves. If the phone rings, we usually recognize who is calling before they even say their name. It's just how we operate.
