Oriental Spice

You can find Oriental Spice at Bellandur 149. It’s right in the middle of all that Bellandur traffic, so things are always moving fast around here. The restaurant isn't very big, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen with the heat and the steam from the rice cookers. We use a lot of ginger and garlic, so that's usually the first thing you smell when you walk in. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some simple stuff on the walls and plain tables. We get a lot of office workers during the week who are in a hurry to get back to their desks, so we try to get their food out as fast as we can. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit backed up when a lot of orders come in at once, but we just keep at it. We also do a lot of packing for delivery people who are always waiting by the door. The floor can get a bit slippery with all the cooking going on, so we’re always mopping up. We’ve got a small team and we all do a bit of everything, whether it’s taking orders or cleaning up at the end of the night. It’s just a normal neighborhood place where we cook the food we know how to make. Nothing too special, just honest work every day to keep the place running.
