Nuthan Gents Parlour

Srinagar-Banashankari Stage I is where we have been for a while now. Specifically, you can find Nuthan Gents Parlour at Shop No 06 on the 10th main road. It is right in the Kalappa block area. We spend most of our days here cutting hair and doing shaves for the men who live around the neighborhood. It is a small shop, nothing too fancy, just the basic chairs and mirrors you would expect. Usually, mornings are a bit slow, but it picks up when people are heading home from work or on the weekends. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but it keeps things cool enough while we work. We know most of the people who come in by name since they have been visiting us for years. It is just a regular place where you can sit down and get your hair trimmed without much fuss. The traffic on 10th main can get pretty loud during rush hour, but inside it is mostly just the sound of scissors and the radio playing in the corner. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us who know the local styles. If you are walking around Kalappa block, you have probably seen our sign. We try to keep the place tidy, though hair gets everywhere by the end of the day. It is just a part of the job. Most days we are just happy to chat with the regulars while we work.
