We are out in Kyasambally village, which is in the Bangarpet area of Kolar district. It’s a place where things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We work from a spot connected to the family holdings, near where Guruva Reddy is known. The air is a bit dustier here, especially during the dry season, and you see more tractors than cars on some of the smaller roads. Our day starts early, usually when the sun is just coming up and the village is starting to stir. We don’t have a formal office building with glass walls. It’s more of a practical space where we can sit down and manage our tasks without being bothered. There is always something that needs fixing or someone dropping by to chat about the local news. We handle our business in a very direct way, mostly talking to people face-to-face or over the phone. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about being there when people need us. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to be patient, but that’s just life in the village. We have deep roots here and everyone knows everyone else. We just focus on our daily chores and make sure everything is taken care of before the day ends. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, and hope that the work keeps coming in for us.
