North Indian Tiffin Service

We are located over in BTM Layout, right near Sinhgad Road. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, especially with everyone moving in for work. We noticed a lot of people living in PGs or small flats who didn't have time to cook for themselves. That is why we started this tiffin service. We are right next to Kalena Agrahara, so we are easy to find if you are in the 560029 area. Our day starts really early, usually before the sun is even up. We have to get the lentils soaking and the dough ready for the afternoon rush. It is a small team here, just a couple of us handling the cooking and the packing. We try to keep the spices balanced so it feels like a daily meal, not something heavy from a restaurant. The containers get stacked up and sent out on bikes all over the neighborhood. We’ve had some days where the rain slows us down, but we try our best to get the food there on time. It’s not a big corporate business. We just work out of a modest kitchen space. We use whatever vegetables are in season. People tell us they like the dal because it tastes like back home. We don't put much effort into advertising, we just focus on the cooking. If the food is good, people usually tell their friends anyway. That’s how we’ve grown.
