Nizams Kitchen

Nizams Kitchen is tucked away at Marathahalli 2Nd Main, 10Th Cross, right in the middle of 2Nd Stage near W O C Road 83. It’s a busy little spot, mostly because of where we’re located. There is always something happening on the street outside. In the kitchen, it’s usually hot and there’s always a lot of chopping and stirring going on. We don’t have a huge team, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know how each other moves around the stove without having to say much. Sometimes the orders pile up and it gets a bit frantic, but we just keep going until everyone gets their food. We didn’t spend a lot of money on fancy decorations or anything like that. The walls have some marks and the chairs are just basic wood and plastic. We figure people are mostly here for the food anyway, so we put our time into that. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local kitchen trying to get things right day after day. Some days are smoother than others, and sometimes we run out of a certain ingredient by the evening, but that’s just life in a kitchen. We’ve seen Marathahalli grow so much over the years, and it’s nice to still be a part of the neighborhood here on 10th Cross. We just show up, light the burners, and start the day.
