Nirmala Foods

Our place, Nirmala Foods, is inside the KSSIDC Compound at R. K. Complex, Plot No. V-4. We are near STPL in the Electronic City area, just off Hosur Road. It is a very industrial setting with a lot of trucks moving around and people rushing to work. Inside our unit, we spend the day processing and packing food items. Depending on the day, the air might smell like spices or grain. It is a steady operation, but it is not a massive, automated factory. A lot of what we do is still done by hand, like checking the quality of the bags or making sure the seals are tight. Working in Electronic City means we are part of a big crowd, but our unit is just a small local business. The compound can be a bit of a maze if you are visiting for the first time. We do not have any corporate slogans or a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the food ready and out the door on time. Sometimes the power goes out, or a shipment is delayed, and we just have to figure out a way to make it work. It is a small team here and we all know each other well. We have been at this plot for a while and have just gotten used to the daily grind of the Hosur Road traffic and the heat.
