Nimrah Engineers

We’re set up at No. 2, R.K. Lakeview in Banglapet. It’s part of the Hebbagodi area, right near the Bommasandra Industrial Area. Being close to the industrial hub is good for us because that’s where all our work comes from. We’re a small engineering outfit. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the machines and making sure the drawings match what we’re building. The traffic in this part of Bangalore can be a nightmare, so we usually get here early to beat the rush. The building isn’t anything special to look at, just a practical space for engineers. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of material delivered at once. We do a lot of custom work, so every day is a bit different depending on what the customer asks for. We don’t really have a sales team or anyone to answer the phones constantly; usually, the person who picks up is the one actually working on the parts. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We’ve got a small corner for files and a computer, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. We just try to do a decent job and stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the customers coming back for their custom parts.
