New Thirumala Mens Parlour

New Thirumala Mens Parlour is situated in Pillana Garden on 8th Main, 3rd stage. We are quite near to the Manahil English School, so we see a lot of students and parents passing by every day. The shop itself is a quiet little place tucked into the garden area. We have some basic wooden shelves where we keep our powders and lotions. The mirrors are old and have wooden frames that we painted a few years back. It’s not a large space, so if there are more than three people, it starts to feel a bit crowded. We have a ceiling fan that works hard to keep the place cool during the summer months. Most of the time, the door is left half-open so we can see what's happening on the street. People from the surrounding houses come here because it's convenient and they know us. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the name of the shop on the glass. The floor is usually covered in little bits of hair until we get a chance to sweep at the end of the day. We use a variety of combs and scissors that have been with us for a long time. It’s just a simple mens' parlour where you can come in, get what you need, and head back out to the garden or the school nearby. It is a peaceful spot in a busy city.
