New Olympic Mens Parlour

New Olympic Mens Parlour is my small shop at number 3654 on 1st main in Gayathri Nagar. We are very close to the Kodandarama Swamy Temple, which is a good landmark if you aren't from around here. I’ve been cutting hair in this spot for a long time. It’s a simple setup for men's grooming. I don't believe in having a lot of complicated equipment, just the basics that get the job done right. The shop is small, so if there are three people waiting, it feels full. But nobody seems to mind waiting a bit on the bench outside. Gayathri Nagar is a nice place to work because the people are friendly and they’ve known me for years. I see a lot of the same men coming in every month. We talk about the news or what's happening in Bangalore while I work. It’s not a fancy salon with bright lights, just a regular parlour with a couple of chairs and some sharp tools. I keep the floor swept and the mirrors clean. It’s an honest way to earn a living. If you’re visiting the temple or just live nearby, you’ll see our shop right there. It’s just me and the occasional help when it gets too busy. We don't use any big words to describe what we do, we just cut hair and trim beards.
