We are located over in Prakash Nagar, specifically at no 140/1 on the 3rd main, right by 6th cross. If you know where Rajrajeshwari kalyana mantapa is, we are very close to that landmark. The shop isn't hard to spot. We spend most of our time here cutting hair and doing shaves for the local men. It’s a busy corner of Bangalore, 560021 area, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the door. I’ve been working in this parlour for quite a while now. The name might sound a bit grand, but we are just a normal neighborhood spot. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low in the mornings, but we manage. We have three chairs, though usually only two are going at once unless it’s a festival time. People stop by after work mostly. We talk about local things, families, and the traffic on the main road. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes through the cross streets. We don't really do appointments; people just show up and wait their turn. It’s a practical place. We keep the razors sharp and the towels as clean as we can get them. It’s just how things go here every day from morning till late evening. Nothing more to it than that, really.
