Neo Supermarket

Neo Supermarket is right in the middle of all the noise in Electronic City Phase 1. We have shops 12 to 14 at Karuna Nagar. It’s a funny mix of people around here. You have the tech folks rushing in for a quick snack or some groceries on their way home, and then you have the families who have lived in Karuna Nagar for a long time. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to stock as much as we can in the space we have. Most of the time, I am busy checking the expiry dates or making sure the drinks in the fridge are cold enough for the midday heat. It’s a lot of standing on your feet for ten hours a day. The floor gets scuffed up pretty quick with all the foot traffic, so we are always sweeping and cleaning. We don't have any big marketing team or anything like that. We just put the prices on the items and stack them up high. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road outside, and the neighbors complain, so we have to hurry them along and get the boxes inside. It is a busy life in this part of Bangalore. We stay open late because people in the electronics city don't always finish work at a normal time. It’s just a standard supermarket run by people who live nearby and understand how busy everyone is these days.
