Neeladri Printers

You can find us over at 1896 Jayanagar 9th Block. We’ve been in this part of Jayanagar for a long time. Printing is a lot of work and it’s usually quite messy with all the ink and paper scraps lying around the floor. We have a few machines that have been with us for years and they make a lot of noise when they are running. We do all kinds of things like wedding cards, business bits, and even student projects. The 9th Block is a nice area but parking can be a real headache for our customers. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of chemicals. Sometimes a machine breaks down right when we have a big deadline, and we have to stay up all night fixing it ourselves. We don’t use any polished language to describe what we do here. We just try to make sure the ink is dry before we pack everything up. Jayanagar has changed a lot since we started, with all the new cafes and shops, but our little printing corner stays pretty much the same. We get a lot of regulars who just walk in and know exactly where to put their files. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
