Natures Cuisine

Natures Cuisine is our little place on Mahatma Gandhi Road at number 30. We’ve been here for a while now, watching the street change around us. The building is old, so we deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or flickering lights every now and then. We mostly focus on using ingredients that we can find easily at the local markets. Our menu changes depending on what is available that week. It’s just a few of us in the kitchen and one person out front handling the tables. It gets a bit hectic when the office buildings nearby let out for lunch. We don't have much space, so things can feel a bit tight during the peak hours. The floor is tile and easy to mop, which is good because people bring in a lot of dirt from MG Road. We try to keep the atmosphere calm inside, but it’s hard when the traffic outside is honking all day long. We aren't trying to be the most popular place in the city. We just want to serve food that tastes like it was made at home. Most of our customers are people who work in the surrounding blocks. They come in, eat, and head back to their desks. It’s a simple cycle that we go through every day from Monday to Saturday.
