Natural Honey

Natural Honey is based in Kothanur, right near Kristu Jayanti College. It’s a nice area, though it’s getting more crowded with students lately. We deal with honey, mostly just packing it and getting it ready for people. It’s sticky work, honestly. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spills. The shop isn't very large, but it’s enough for us. We get the honey from different places and make sure it’s decent before it goes out. People from the college sometimes walk past and look in. We’ve been here for a bit now. It started as a small idea and just grew into this. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us working the jars. Sometimes the jars don't arrive on time, which is a real headache. We just sit there waiting for the delivery truck. Kothanur has changed a lot since we opened. More shops and more traffic every year. We like being near the college though, it keeps the energy up. We don’t do anything too complicated. Just simple honey business. We try to keep the prices fair so locals can buy it without thinking twice. That’s about it for us. We’re just here every day, doing what we do. Sometimes we have a quiet afternoon and we just sit and talk about how the neighborhood used to look before all the buildings went up.
